These terms are the rules for using this site. They are the agreement between you and this site.

You agree to them by using the site. You agree to them again when you sign in, and again each time you publish.

If you do not agree to them, do not use the site. That is the only way to refuse them.

This site can change these terms. When it does, the date at the top of this page changes.

A change applies from the day it is on this page. There is no mailing list to tell you through.

The privacy policy is a page of its own. It says what this site holds about you, and these terms do not repeat it.

You need an account to publish a preset, to like one, or to assemble a theme. Reading the site needs no account.

You sign in through another service rather than with a password here. Today that service is Discord.

You have to be 13 or over to have an account. Where the sign-in service sets a higher age, that age applies here too.

An account is one person. Do not share it, and do not sign in as somebody else.

What is done from your account is yours. If somebody else has it, write to the address at the foot of this page.

This site can refuse an account, and can end one. The section on moderation says when.

You keep what you make. Publishing a preset here does not make it this site’s.

Publishing gives this site permission to hold your preset, show it, draw it in the preview, and hand it back to anybody who downloads it.

Publishing also gives everybody else here permission to download your preset, use it in the game, and remix it into one of their own.

That second permission does not end. A copy somebody already downloaded is theirs to keep using, and deleting your preset does not reach it.

Deleting a preset ends what this site may do with it. This site stops showing it and stops handing it back.

You promise that what you publish is yours to publish. That covers the preset, its name, its description, its tags and any picture it carries.

If somebody makes a claim about something you published, it is yours to answer. This site can take the preset down while that is settled.

A remix opens somebody else’s published preset in the editor and starts a new preset from it. This site does that in one click.

What you may do with another person’s preset here is what the section above gives you: download it, use it, and remix it.

A remix is your preset. The person you started from keeps theirs, unchanged, and keeps what they made.

The editor offers to credit the preset you started from, and that offer is on until you turn it off. The credit is a courtesy here, not a condition.

You may pass a preset on outside this site. What you may not do is publish somebody else’s work as your own, here or anywhere.

These rules cover everything you publish: the preset, its name, its description, its tags and its pictures.

Do not publish anything that is against the law.

Do not publish anything that is not yours to publish. A picture you found is a picture somebody made.

Do not publish anything sexual, hateful, or aimed at hurting a person.

Do not use somebody else’s name, handle or avatar to look like them.

Do not attack this site. That covers breaking in, working around its limits, and anything meant to take it down.

Do not download in bulk, and do not run scripts against this site. There is no public interface for programs here, and its addresses can change at any time.

If something published here is yours and should not be here, write to legal@yargthemes.com.

Say which preset it is. Its address on this site is enough to name it.

Say what right you hold, and say why the preset breaks it. Say how to reach you, and confirm that what you have written is true.

If the claim looks right, the preset comes down. The person who published it is told what was claimed, and by whom.

That person can reply to the same address. If the reply settles it, the preset goes back up.

To report something that is abusive rather than somebody’s work, write to abuse@yargthemes.com instead.

Some accounts here are administrators. An administrator can delete any preset, including yours, whether or not they published it.

An administrator can also disable an account. A disabled account cannot sign in, and nothing it published is shown while it is disabled.

A disable lasts a set number of days, or until an administrator lifts it. It deletes nothing, and lifting it shows all of that work again.

Deleting a preset deletes it. Nothing stays behind a hidden flag, and it cannot be undone.

This site does not have to warn you first. The reason is held with the record of what was done, and it is not shown to anybody.

To ask about a decision, write to abuse@yargthemes.com. A disabled account cannot use the controls in settings, so that address is the only way.

This site is not the YARG project. It is not made by them, not endorsed by them, and not checked by them.

YARG is the game these presets are for. It is somebody else’s work, and these terms say nothing about using it.

The models, textures and shapes in the preview are YARG’s own. They are taken from the game and used under its license, the LGPL version 3.

YARG’s name and its art belong to the YARG project. Nothing here claims either.

The preview re-creates how the game draws a highway. It is close enough to choose by, and it is not exact.

A preset that looks right here can still look different in the game. What the game does with a file is the game’s.

This site is free, and it is offered as it is. Nothing here is promised to work, and nothing here is promised to keep working.

This site can change, and it can stop. It can change what it shows, what it holds and what it lets you do, at any time and without telling you first.

What you publish can be lost. A mistake, a failure or the site closing can take it, and there is no backup here to ask for.

Keep your own copy of anything you care about. A preset is a file, and downloading it is the whole of keeping it.

This site is not responsible for what using it costs you. That covers work you lose, time you spend, and anything that follows from either.

Where the law does not allow a rule in this section, the law wins. The rest of this page still stands.
